Non-curated Tour

Unguided visual tour
Enjoy one hour of private access to Entomica Insectarium and browse at your own pace. With this option children can take their time moving through the exhibits at their own pace, enjoying up-close views of our vivariums. This is a self-guided experience, meaning Entomica staff will not be leading the tour, but staff will be present to ensure safety and provide general assistance.
*Please note: this package is visual only and does not include critter handling or entry to our quarantine lab. This is a great choice for groups who want a quiet, unstructured experience or who may not want direct animal contact.

Guided tour with critter interaction
Enjoy one-hour of private access to Entomica Insectarium with a guided tour led by Entomica’s engaging and knowledgeable staff. Students will be captivated as they learn fun facts, go behind the scenes, and enjoy a chance to safely hold and interact with our critters, an experience they’ll be talking about long after their trip. This package also includes unguided access to the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, offering your group a second enriching educational experience on the same trip! Perfect for schools, camps or clubs, this guided tour combines education, excitement, and hands-on learning at an unbeatable value.

Parts of a Bug

In this module, students will explore the many ways insects appear in art, stories, traditions, and cultural practices around the world. With a mix of storytelling, visuals, and hands-on elements, children will gain a new appreciation for how bugs connect people across cultures. Designed for grades 3–4, this program encourages students to see insects as art, teachers, and inspirations beyond their role in nature.
Insect Flight

Price includes one class of up to 30 students, the BugOut is the perfect mix of hands-on fun and meaningful science learning that brings textbooks to life.
Full Day In School
